What she used was probably a lancet, which is great for extraction, but should not hurt. It is a small pointy ended instrument used to open the top of a black or white head. However, when it is used properly there should be no discomfort. If you decide to go back to that esthetician just ask that they don't use the lancet, but I would recommend finding a better med-spa. You could always ask for the amount of training they had as well (usually 600-1200 hours) to ensure you are receiving a treatment from someone who knows what they are doing.
Hope this helps!!I recently had a facial where the lady used a needle to get out the blackheads. It hurt quite a bit definetely
yeah i've heard of it.
just cuz its not relaxing and soothing, doesnt mean its not a facial
they got rid of ur blackheads, so be happy.
