What's the best treatment for blackheads?

They're mostly on my nose, and they're extremely embarassing. I scrub the heck out of my nose, but that hardly helps. Is there any true effective treatment to get rid of blackheads? What's the best treatment for blackheads?
Have you ever been for a facial? Try it. They steam your face and then squeeze your blackheads. At home, shower in hot water, this will open your pores. What's the best treatment for blackheads?
The Biore pore strips work pretty well, but you won't want to use them too often. I usually suggest people do them no more than once every two weeks, or else face damaging the skin around the nose. If those aren't working for you, use an exfoliating toner with glycolic acid in it (at least 8%) and talk to a dermatoligist about having them extracted. Many spas and salons can do this as well. They basically use a tool to squeeze the little buggers outta there! Doesn't sound too pleasant, I know, but it works and once you go throught the pain the first time, it won't be nearly as bad for follow up appointments (or could possibly be better managed using over the counter products like the strips).
If you have blackheads or whiteheads, avoid squeezing them. It can cause infection and permanently scar your face. Getting treated by the dermatologist is the best option. The dermatologist can open the comedones after sterilizing the area, if needed.

Basic care for acne involves washing the face lightly with lukewarm water and mild soap. This clears the excess sebum and dead skin. Treat your skin gently. Apply the topical cream prescribed by your dermatologist. But remember, acne takes its own time to clear. Hence be patient. Any impatience can aggravate the inflammation.
I use strips by witch, there great used twice a week and you can buy them from anywhere x
try Ponds blackhead removing strips, the best thing out there.
It sounds crazy but just squeeze them. not individually, but if you use one finger to push your nose kinda in to your face, one side then the other, you'll see how all of them just ooze (ewww) out at once. once you've gotten good at this, you'll be able to get most of them. after doing that, wash your face really well to remove any oils you put there with your hands. I suggest using exfoliating pads that aren't too harsh to use every day. I like aveeno cleansing pads. follow up with a toner; i use clean and clear. good luck...
Ok listen to me... I do this stuff all day long. Yep I pop pimples all day! the only true way to totally get rid of blackhead or whiteheads, is to squeeze them out. You can use the strips that rip the skin off your nose, but they will always come back. So steam your nose for about 5 mins and get ready for some pain.
my advice is to use a really good exvolient the one i use is st ives it works really good
