How do i get rid of blackheads?

I have cleared up about 80% of my acne. Now all i have left to clear up are the blackheads on my nose. Does anyone know how to get them cleaned out, not just like over night or whatever, but that keeps it clear. They keep coming back, and i was just wondering if anyone knew of some home remedy or masks that would help clear out my pores on my nose? How do i get rid of blackheads?
There's that Clean and Clear black head Eraser scrub machine thing.

try clean and clear blackhead eraser, or some nose strips from biore
i've tried so many blackhead removers (the clean and clear blackhead eraser mentioned above and nose strips as well) but none really seem to work D=

but ive been using st. ives apricot scrub and it seems to keep most of the blackheads away or from growing bigger :)

wash you face first then you cut a lemon in half and rub it on your face it really works

and your face will smell good

How do I get rid of blackheads?

Other than avoiding products that are too emollient (meaning thick or greasy creams) and not using moisturizers unless you truly need them, there are really only three over-the-counter essentials for getting rid of blackheads:

* Avoid bar soaps and use a gentle, water-soluble cleanser instead. The ingredients that keep soap in its bar form can clog pores, and irritation can cause skin cells to flake off before they're ready and accumulate in the pore. The good news is that there are lots of gentle cleansers to consider. It's actually getting more and more difficult to find a cleanser that isn't gentle. Someone with dry skin would want to use a slightly more moisturizing cleanser鈥攂ut be careful: cleansers that are too emollient can contain ingredients that add to the sebum in your skin causing further problems.

* Gentle exfoliants that can both remove the excess skin cells on the surface of the face (so they don't build up in the pore) and exfoliate inside the pore (to improve the shape of the pore, allowing a more even flow of oil through it). Keep in mind that the pore itself is lined with skin cells that can build up, creating a narrowed shape that doesn't allow for natural oil flow out of the pore. But don't get carried away with this step. Overdoing it (removing too many skin cells) can cause problems and hurt skin. Exfoliation is essential for both dry and oily skin to eliminate blackheads. Someone with dry skin will want an exfoliant that has a more moisturizing base; those with normal skin can base this decision on personal preference (gel, lotion, or cream texture).

There are still only limited options for this one, and Paula鈥檚 Choice offers more options than any other cosmetic company. BHA stands for beta hydroxy acid; also known as salicylic acid, this ingredient can penetrate the pore and exfoliant inside its lining, dissolving debris and helping to restore normal oil flow. Plus BHA also has anti-inflammatory properties, so it reduces the redness of blemishes, and antibacterial properties to reduce breakouts (that handles two skin care problems quite beautifully).

Can I remove blackheads myself?

This isn't a pretty topic, but it is a fact of life and human nature that just leaving a blemish or blackhead alone is almost impossible. Fortunately, gently removing a blackhead or blemish with light-handed squeezing can actually help the skin. Removing the stuff inside a blackhead or especially a pimple relieves the pressure and reduces further damage. Yes, squeezing can be detrimental to the skin, but how you squeeze determines whether you inflict harm. If you oversqueeze, pinch, scrape the skin with your nails, or press too hard, you are absolutely doing more damage than good. Gentle is the key word and, when done right, squeezing with minimal pressure is the best, if not only, way to clean out a blackhead or blemish.

How not to over-squeeze? Although I never recommend steaming the face (heat can cause spider veins to surface and create irritation), a tepid to slightly warm compress over the face can help soften the blackhead or blemish, making removal easier. First, wash your face with a water-soluble cleanser. Pat the skin dry, then place a slightly warm, wet cloth over your face for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once that's done, pat the skin dry again, then using a tissue over each finger to keep you from slipping and tearing the skin, apply even, soft pressure to the sides of the blemish area, gently pressing down and then up around the lesion. Do this once or twice only. If nothing happens, that means the blemish cannot be removed, and continuing will bruise the skin, risk making the infection or blackhead worse, and cause scarring. Again, only use gentle pressure, protect your skin by using tissue around your fingers, and do not over-squeeze.
There are several ways that can help you.

I have suffered from acne and blackheads for many years now. Im happy to say that its all under control.

The thing is acne is a trial and error skin condition. What works for one person doesnt absolutely work for the next.

You need to try different things and before giving up you need to make sure you give them a chance.

below are several great articles on helping with acne and blackheads.

What is the best way to get rid of blackheads?

Especially on the nose. I don't really have a lot of money to spend on expensive stuff so I was wondering if anybody had good home remedies or cheap solutions?

Thanks (:What is the best way to get rid of blackheads?
Trust me when I say that home remedies...

1) take effort

2) still require $$

3) can be very very frustrating seeing as they almost always never turn out perfect.

But there is a solution to your blackhead problem that doesn't require a lot of $$, is VERY easy, and gets rid of all (or nearly all) of your blackheads.

And this is also my solution. It's Biore pore blackhead removing pore strips. You can get these for about $15 from Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, and almost all other drug stores. $15 may sound a little pricy, and I am about the CHEAPEST person out there...so hey, if I buy 'em and am recommending them...they are totally worth every penny. One pack lasts me about 3 months.

Good Luck! ◕‿◕What is the best way to get rid of blackheads?
Bi-ore pore strips is the only VERY effective way that I've found to work. They dry like paper-mache on your nose, and you peel them off which causes the blackheads to pull out with the strip.

Scrubs aren't effective unless you use them everyday to twice a day, which is drying to your skin.

Don't squeeze the blackheads, it will cause pimples to sprout up everywhere.
Hi there,

A good trick that I was taught was to steam your face, it helps to open up and clear the pores.... wash your face first so your skin is clean, boil enough water to fill a bowl and throw in a few sprinkles of mixed herbs, then lay a towel over your head so that you and the bowl are covered and lean fowards so that the steam goes onto your face. Do this for about 10 minutes. Then rinse off with cold water.

I'd recommend this about once a week.

Hope that helps!! :)

An ideal mask that extracts dirt and oil from clogged pores can be made by using powdered orange peel and yogurt, it should be applied and when dry scrub with circular motion and wash with warm water. It opens up the clogged pores that cause acne and blackheads. Check out http://usefulinfo-blackheads.blogspot.co… for more useful tips to control blackheads.
black pepper and curd, take one tablespoon black pepper powder and add to it enough curd to make a thick paste.apple on the infected area and let it dry, this is an effective cure for blackheads.you can get more information about blackheads by checking this linkhttp://www.skincare09.com/
I use salt water, helps open the pores and clears them up, plus smooths the skin. Just wash your face with warm water and put about, two spoon fulls of salt in it. The salt will open the pores and clean them. It usually takes a day or two for them to clear up.
aaww rnt u a doll ok fill a bowl or sink with hot water put your face over it thn put a towel over ur hed covering evrything.wash ur face first this will oopen pores after that squeeze em out nd put a mask on wash off nd pat dry ..hope this works for u it duz to me
I like using nose pore strips as they only cost about £2 for 3 strips and really make a difference. They grab every little blackhead.
I agree with the nose pore strips. Try them.

How can i remove blackheads on my face ? They are black dots now after i been popped the pimple?

Take a nice hot shower and pop them. The hot shower will loosen the black heads and they should come out easier.

You could also by those Biore strips but I don't really think they work that well.

That tool that was mentioned by someone else does work but if you have small blackheads it really doesn't work that well...How can i remove blackheads on my face ? They are black dots now after i been popped the pimple?
They make a little tool for removing them that works really well and doesn't tear your face up. It looks like a little metal stick with holes on each end. They usually sell them with the grooming stuff like tweezers and nail clippers and such. You just center the hole over the blackhead and press down. It pops right out.

Also, if you aren't already doing it, use some sort of medicine on your face like Clearasil pads or Bezol Peroxide cream. They will help dry up the oils in your face that help cause acne. How can i remove blackheads on my face ? They are black dots now after i been popped the pimple?
be careful about popping and squeezing because you can scar your face , you need to type in and buy some pro active best thing i did for my children and they have beautiful skin now,,,, believe me it works.

  • I have lots of blackheads and small pimples on my forehead?

I'm 16 now and have been trying to deal with this for 4 years! I don't really want to see a dermatologist so please don't suggest it! I couldnt afford it and I don't have the time at the moment.

What are some really good, fast acting if possible, products to help me deal with these spots?

Thanks for your help :)I have lots of blackheads and small pimples on my forehead?
This might sound stupid but bear with me. Have you got a fringe? If so you might want to wear it off your face for awhile, the oil off your hair can aggravate the problem or even cause it. Apart from that a good skin care routine will definitely help (cleanse, tone and moisturise) Don't forget to tone after you cleanse and before you moisturise, it closes the pores you've just opened when you cleanse and stops moisturiser clogging them up again. Also if you go down the route of products like clearasil and oxy, don't overload you skin with them cause I find they really dry your skin out. I know because I've used them in the past and I have quite oily unsensitive skin. Hope any of that helps.I have lots of blackheads and small pimples on my forehead?
I use seabreeze, it is a astringent you can buy at wal mart. They have one for sensitve skin, and one for normal skin, the one for normal skin has salycic acid in it that will not only get oil, dirt, %26amp; makeup off your skin but it will also dry up acne pimples and clear out the blackheads over time of course. Wash your face before using the seabreeze astringent then soak a cotton ball in seabreeze and rub over face until not trace of dirt is left. Then I use clearisil spot treatment, benzl peroxide 10%

    =]
If you have alot of blackheads that means what whatever facial wash you are using is not cleansing (%26amp;exfoliating) your skin well enough. You need something deep cleaning but not over irritating. Like Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Scrub. Their oil free acne wash works pretty well also. What you need to do is get those intitial blackheads out before you can go on preventing them. So you can do three things; the baking soda trick the girl above me mentioned sounds really good, try that since you can make it at home. If it dosent work, invest in some Biore Pore strips for the face. Those literally pull out the black heads from your skin. Or you can try the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. Its very cheap (about $3) and it WORKS, its very old school. But the mask sucks out blackheads, and the sulfur in it helps dry up the other pimples you may have, probably twice a week is best. Use this in combination with a good facial cleanser and that should solve your problems.
You have to go to get a facial. You have to have them put you under that light and get the black heads out. YOur skin isn't functioning properly but the facial will assist.

TRUST ME- start with getting a facial and the blackheads removed. Once that's done, they'll be able to help with the whiteheads and any other breakouts.
ok i know the answer!! lol

so i alwasy had lost of blackheads too =/ and i found a cool way to get rid of them very fasssttt

    mix baking soda

get some good exfoliating face scrubs and cleansers for your skin type. you can get stuff all over chemists like creams and gels. pop into ya nearest boots and have a look.
Rubbing alcohol. It dries up your skin, but it's worth it. If it stings it's working. once before bedtime everynight.
    neutrogena oil free acne wash
    get those strips lol

raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar, cost is $5 a bottle, find it at the health food store, or in some super markets..

to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face turn off the heat from a pan of distilled water, add 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to a quart of the hot water. drape a towel over the pan and your head to steam clean your pores. take a cotton ball, dip in vinegar and pat over skin to remove loosened dirt. repeat 2 more times.gently squeeze the blackheads. then spray or dab on chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.

For facial products I like Noxzema and Physoderm (there are generic equivalents for both in most drugstores).

I also found that taking a multi-vitamin has also been very helpful to me as far as keeping from having a big problem with acne.
use the nosestrips. they work the best.
Use a lotion that will treat your blackhead. For example, OLAY or maybe the CLEAN and CLEAR facial wash. If it doesn't come off, it's okay! We're all special no matter what and we have our own embarrassing stuff. Yes, everyone has embarrassing stuffs!

Just scrub your face realy good with soap and water four times a day, and don't use make-up (it will clog your pores even more).
DON'T scrub your face, DON'T wash more than 2 times a day or after you exercise and sweat a lot. use oil-free sunscreen and lotions.
Cleanse, Exoliate, Freshen/Tone, Moisturize and protect

Morning and Night!! Use the right formula for your skin (dry, combination, oily)

Do wear foundation (step 5 protect) during the day (do not wear it to bed) it acts as a barrier from bacteria and other impurities in the air. They wash off with the foundation at night. Wearing good makeup will not cause other problems unless you have an allergy. Most Mary Kay products are formulated to be non comedogenic (will not cause whiteheads blackheads or break outs)

toothpaste does not work. it is too harsh for your skin and your skin will end up producing more oil. use applecider vinegar on your face twice a day after washing. also use a mild facewash twice a day and you should see improvement
You need a few things... A good sugar or salt body scrub, face wash, and toothpaste.

Take a shower... after you've been in there for a few minutes (with hot water, so your pores are open) use the salt/sugar scrub first ,wash off, and then use the face wash. Repeat before you go to bed, without the scrub.

What the hell is the toothpaste for?

There is a chemical in toothpaste that dries out skin. So if you have any really bad zits or anything put it on the spot, leave overnight, wash off in the morning.
i would recommend you to wet your face with hot water first and then with cold water, that might work

    Wikipedia says a blackhead ';is caused by excess oils that have accumulated in the sebaceous gland's duct. Blackheads are typically caused by excessive oil and makeup. While the contents inside may look dark, it is not dirt; the substance found in these bumps mostly consists of keratin and modified sebum (an oily secretion of the sebaceous gland)';

    American Heritage Dictionary defines blackhead as ';A plug of keratin and sebum within a hair follicle that is blackened at the surface.';

American Heritage Dictionary also gives the following definitions: Keratin is ';a tough, insoluble protein substance that is the chief structural constituent of hair, nails, horns, and hooves.'; And sebum is ';the semifluid secretion of the sebaceous glands, consisting chiefly of fat, keratin, and cellular material.';What is the the thing that pops out of blackheads?

    Yes.

well I have exsperience and this is a home technique you can use.It Cleanses out your pores and getting rid of the excess black gunk in them.Well first before you do anything..you know it is safe to pop them. GEt all that stuff out and the first step to do is. #1. Get a pan and put some water in it.#2. Boil the water and once it is bubbling take it of and set it on soething it wont burn. next get a wet warm rag and put it over your face and put your face over the pan and the steam will cleanse them out.
    Here's a totally free and skin-friendly way ...

first half fill your sink with hot , and i mean hot water. then put a towel over your head and put your head over the water. the towel over your head channels the steam to your face. then wait for five mins. hot makes pores open and cold makes them close. After the five mins pat your face gently with a tissue then wash face with soap and warm water ( if you want you can use cleanser - but that wouldn't be free would it ?! ) . next put cold water on another towel and dab face to close pores again to stop dirt getting back in again

    hope this helps xx
lol aww that happened to me but my friend told me:

    don't use all those chemicals!

squeeze them(i know scary because they might look worse but trust me!)

then immediately after dash some hot-ish(warm-ish)water with a little lime/lemon in it on your face and then they are cleaned and your face will look so much healthier/better!

    so hope i helped!

oh also don't make the water too hot nor put too much lime juice
theres this thing you can get a any drug store like shoppers and, you like put it on your skin and then after 10 minutes you rip it off and it takes them all out, you can accually see them on the paper thing after you rip it out.

just ask a person at the drug store:)
you may have to get a facial , and have them professionaly extract them .

    Blackheads?

well i have a lot of blackheads on my nose, and inbetween my eye brows, and i have tried the nose strips, but they didnt help that much, so does anyone have any good ideas for getting them all cleared up?

And i have farely sensitive skin, so can you please put that into consideration, thanksBlackheads?
I know a free and a easy way to do so.

First, get ready an egg white yolk and cottons.Put some white yolk on one side of the cotton. Then, apply it on your nose . Wait for it to dry (completely dry), and then peel it off. You will see the blackheads sticking on the cotton.

It really works, I tried before, it only takes and hour or less. You don't have to worry about the smell , cuz the white yolk does not give out any smell. It not only remove the blackheads, but also give ur skin extra protein. It really works, and the main thing is , its free . You only have to pay for the eggs. Haha.Wish you good luck!!Blackheads?
    Try these

Toothpaste (not gel) can be used to treat blackheads. Apply toothpaste on blackheads before going to bed. This will not only remove blackheads from your skin but also reduces the swelling of blackheads.

Fenugreek (methi) leaves(from health shop) serve as a good home remedy to remove blackheads. Apply the paste of these leaves on affected area and wash it with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. This remedy not only helps in preventing blackheads but also avoids wrinkles.

Take one lemon and extract juice from it and mix it well with equal amount of rosewater and then apply it on the affected area. Keep it for half an hour and then rinse it with fresh water. Repeating this process for 15 days not only removes blackheads, but also helps in healing scars and scratches.

Use a cleanser and toner every day to tighten your skin and close pores.
try using a syringe and sucking them out =)
First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.
I had a dermatologist recommend to use Cetaphil soap. For some reason, Wal-Mart is the only place that make a generic version - packaging looks identical. It nice because it's not really soap, it's something else that is great for sensitive skin. The important thing is to use a washcloth so that you're actually scrubbing your skin a little bit.
the strips don't work. Trust me, I've tried them. A good home remedy is lemon juice applied to the black heads. Just put some lemon juice on a cotton ball and hold it on the black heads for a few minutes twice a day. You should see improvements in a few weeks.
Use Clearasil spot control for sensitive skin will help and use the palms of your hands for it to work better.Or get a warm wet flannel hold on your nose for a minute or two so your pores open up and get a mirror so your reflection is bigger have a bright light and squeeze them , after wash your face so the blackheads you have squeezed dont go into other pores.
go see a skin care doc 2 get sum kind of cream 4 that. Ooo i had a big 1 on my nose but i kept messing with it then the puss camee out and it shrunk now u dont see nuthing
I had lots of blackheads on my nose, I used deep cleansing nose strips, by purederm. I bought them from savers for about 拢1.99 and they were great! first time i've used them and it's already done it. It's simple too, just wet your nose and put the strip on for 10-15 mins, peel off and then you can squeez any that have been left.

It's worked great for me, and so easily :D

If that doesn't help, using a steamer is really good too. When your face gets hot amnd steamed up, it opens the paws of the blackheads and would make it alot easier to squeeze!.

    Hope this helped =]
use a good face wash (acne free.. you can get it at target or longs) and be sure to massage your face while washing it.. this will loosen the black heads. after that you MUST use a toner (loreal hydrafresh toner.. a bottle with pink liquid) that contains beta hydroxy and vitamins for the skin. this will clear extra blackheads that the face wash might have missed. but it is also important to MOISTURIZE! a good moisturizer is dove all day moisture with spf 15. it will not irritate your sensitive skin (i have sensitive skin too). if you don't moisturize your face will become super dry, thus leading to more blackheads.

    hope this helps!
    go for a facial
get those blackhead cleansing pads they work great for me, and they are tested so they don't harm sensitive skin.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
i have crazy sensitive skin too! so i can NEVER use store bought stirps.... instead i make my own, i mix one part gelatin and 2 parts milk/cream i spread it over the area and place thick paper over it, wait until its dry completely ( 3-4 minutes) and the pull it off...the reason for the cream is becuase calcium soothes the area so oils dont produce themselves oo much causing more blackheads and the gelatin sticks to dirt and oils, not your pores, so dont worry, u wont have any jell-o on ur face =]

    Blackheads????????????

please help..!!!! i have two huge blackheads on my nose and nothing will work for them. I have used everything such as clinique face wash, neutragena, bioree face lotion, and blackhead strips!!! nothing will help. Please give me advisse nn what to do and use.Blackheads????????????
disinfect a needle with alcohol and pick the top layer of skin off and squeeze it out. Then dap it with peroxide to kill germs and close the pore.

it hurts, but its the only no fuss way that works, forget spending money on creams, washes and strips.

also another option is to take the loop side of a bobby pin and 'scrape' it out of your pore. this one hurts more, but is quicker.Blackheads????????????
You can use a facial steamer to steam your face for a few minutes. This helps you to open up facial pores, and expose the blackheads. Pat your face dry. Then, use a blackhead remover to remove blackheads. Place the hole of the remover over a blackhead, and gently press down. This will apply the pressure from underneath the blackhead, and pop it up. Then use an alcohol pad to clean it up to avoid infection. Avoid harsh squeezing or scraping at the blackhead. Excessive squeezing can damage the skin surround the pore and can actually increase the size of the pore, leading to more blackheads in the future.
all products what you said wont work. Trust me been there done that. yes used to have blackheads on my nose but not anymore. the best method for this is using the blackhead tool which has 2 loops. get it from ebay its best!

other thing is use st.ives blemish control it is great. i used only once and never received any blackhead again or any spot.!!!
Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
use ur both ur index fingers nails and squeeze them together on the blackhead so it comes out jus squeeze it out.. it'll hurt, even leave a red mark for a couple of hours but itll be gone

    Blackheads!?

i have major blackheads problems.. on my nose. and i hate it. other parts of the face is doind well.. but my nose.. urgh! help me, good people of yahoo..Blackheads!?
Blackheads are easy to take care of. First, you open the pores by applying a warm wet cloth to your face for about ten minutes. Then you wash your face with one of those pore-cleaning soaps that has salicylic acid in it. I like Biore; my dermatologist likes Neutrogena. Look for something that has 2% salicylic acid. You wash you face with one of those sponges designed for exfoliating. Not the rough ones, just something that will have a little scraping action.

So it is 1, 2, 3. Open up the pores, clean out the pores, scrub it off. Use the pore cleansing soap every day.Blackheads!?
have you tried black head strips like the ones Biore makes?

Or try a Black head remover? You use this to ';scrape'; them off.

    they sell both at walgreens.
Green wintergreen rubbing alochol, pour a bit on a tissue and wipe your face..you will see the tissue become very dirty. Do it every morning and every night before bed. This is one of those tricks that no one ever knows..The best part..the bottle is usually about 89 cents... I find it at vons or walgreens.

My husband had bad acne and he went to the dermatoligist and tried everything but this works and he is perfectly clear.

    http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j鈥?/a>
I use Neutrogena soap, it works great. Just wash your face in warm water with it. After you wash, gently squeeze the blackheads that remain (they come out very easy after using the soap). Wash with Neutrogena every day and that should keep you from getting them back.
Wash your face with soapy water everyday. At the end of the day, use a pad with alcohol on it to wipe your nose and forehead, this will eliminate the grease and is cheaper and just as effective as using stuff like clearasil.
Squeeze your nose in different spots and it will ooze out.. trust me i do it all the time and never have this problem.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. 3. about 5 bucks

    4. no

    5. it makes ur skin nice and soft cuz it exfoliates. i rilly like it and its pretty cheap, so i would give it a go :)Blackheads?????
Never tried this scrub before but heard that the beads in it is quite big and harsh. For facial scrub, better choose those with finer and gentler beads to avoid hurting your skin.
only use it 2 times a week....dont leave it on it's like soap so i can dry you're skin if left on to much!!it doesnt burn at all and when im done using it my face sooo much better!!all you need is a couple(4)little blobs!!
Well I have not used that except Miho Medicated Bath salt with miho cleansing milk. It works very well when you use as a set. If you want something natural and also multipurpose, you can consider the solution above.

    Blackheads...?

I use a moisturizing cloth twice a day but theres one problem my BLACKHEADS!! i only have it on my nose though. do u know anything good to get rid of blackheads?? thank u!Blackheads...?
get those nose strips, just put them on your nose and leave on for a few minutes and once removed it would remove all you blackheads on your nose.

Hey i must say its pretty painfull!!!!!!!!!Blackheads...?
Whatever you do, be careful about 'squeezing' them! I had one I could NOT squeeze out... years ago... ! Last year I had to have it surgically removed - not as a 'blackhead'... but as 'skin-cancer'! I listened to all the 'stuff' they told me about the sun being the cause of skin cancer, and it's all probably true! But, I am convinced that years ago, I 'DID' something, trying to 'squeeze' it out...

If you can't handle your problem with the cloths, and creams that are available TODAY, (they weren't available back then) then go see a Doctor, or a Dermatologist! Don't take the chance of messing-up your face....
i have the same problem with blackheads. i started using these strips specifically for the nose. you wet your nose, put the strip on, let it dry, and then you pull it off. it does remove a few blackheads and i am able to pop a few very easily afterwards. ive used them atleast once a week the last 3 weeks and i've seen a difference. its not like they're all gone but its not as bad as before. i use the biore pore strips.
Steaming your face helps to bring out the blackheads ,then you can squeeze them. If you have some money to spare, go to a beautician and get a facial. It always helps they have special tools which remove the blackheads nicely.

Otherwise use some of the simple skin cleansing methods recommended here: http://www.curereports.com

    pore minimizers.
    1. Use scrub 2-3 times a week on the blackhead prone area.

    2. Use creams containing AHAs like glyco-creams that will clear away dead skin cells.

    3. Avoid cleaning your face with soap more than twice a day. But, definitely water splash your face quite often.

    4. Use astringent as that helps in tightening the pores.
although this sounds disgusting and smelly...i always do it to get rid of my blackheads...trust me it seriously WORKS!!!!

u need to have an egg...just take the white one...DO NOT TAKE THE EGG YOLK!!!!then..put the white egg somewhere.....take a tissue, and deep the tissue into the white egg....put it at your nose until it drys.....(2 ply of tissue.)..

try it and u will be happy with your results....
use Neutrogena deep celan, foaming scrub
Yeah blackheads are one to the toughest things to get rid of, for the fact in takes so long here is some decent help: http://www.skindalous.com/blackheads.html
Nose strips are good they take away all those blackheads as well as white heads right away. Try using them once per week %26amp; it will leave your pores cleaner and smaller. But you should also prevent them from coming back.

Also try to exfoliate the blackhead prone area 3-4 times a week using facial exfoliators and scrubs.

Haven't tried it yet, but some say putting pure lemon juice on the area before going to bed and then wash it off the next day gets rid of the blackheads. Maybe I'll try later.
This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

    Blackheads?

What is the best way to remove them?Blackheads?
    Get a facial!Blackheads?
    Warm soapy wash cloth.

    Blackheads!!??

What are some ways of getting rid of blackheads? please don't recomend products. I have stubborn ones on my nose, and i want a gentle, natrual way of getting rid of them. Please help!Blackheads!!??
I agree with most of the previous posts... don't pick at it. Try following this simple facial care regime.

Drink Plenty of Water, it will help you maintain soft, plump, elastic youthful skin. If our skin does not contain enough water it will begin to dry out and can appear dull and crepe-like. Dehydrated skin can become itchy and is more prone to attack by irritants.

Don't Smoke. It reduces the oxygen level in the blood. Low oxygen means that the skin cannot function at its peak and maintain itself properly. Long term skin effects of low oxygen can be seen through dark circles under the eyes, premature wrinkling and saggy, slack, dull skin. In addition the smoke toxins absorbed into the blood stream via the lungs, will also prevent the skin from functioning optimally.

Eat Plenty of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, especially those that are brightly coloured. They are packed full of antioxidants along with essential vitamins and minerals.

To have healthy, glowing skin, it is vital that the skin receives the nutrition that it needs to function. For example the skin needs vitamin E, an antioxidant, to help maintain the cell walls that make up the building blocks of the skin.

Use a Complete Moisturising Regimen. It will help your skin stay soft, supple and hydrated by preventing water evaporating from your skin. A quality moisturiser does not have to be an expensive one, but it must contain moisturising ingredients from each of the three classes of moisturising agents, humectants, emollients and occludents; by doing this the moisturiser is mimicking the features your skin uses to prevent itself from dehydrating.

During the day our skin needs a moisturiser to prevent dehydration caused by sun exposure, heating, air-conditioning, wind and a host of other factors. As we don't drink water while we sleep, at night our skin needs a more intensive moisturiser to protect our skin from dehydration. At night the skin is more susceptible to irritants and so our night moisturiser needs to be highly protective in addition to being highly moisturising.

The eye area needs particular attention. The skin around our eyes is thinner than the skin on the rest of our face, and is more susceptible to damage, dehydration and poor oxygen flow. Poor skin health around our eyes can be seen as puffiness, bags, dark circles and crepe-like skin. In addition, the eye area is usually the first place fine lines begin to develop. A moisturiser specifically tailored to meet the needs of the skin around our eyes will help maintain overall healthy looking skin.

Wear Sunscreen Every Day. No matter how careful we are, we are exposed to sunlight. While a certain amount of sunlight is good for us as it regulates our body clock, elevates our mood and helps our body produce vitamin D, too much sunlight can be damaging to our skin.

Too much sunlight can lead to sunburn, the development of premature aeging and wrinkling; and can lead to skin cancers.

It is important to use a high quality SPF 30+ broad spectrum sunscreen in conjunction with protective clothing, hats and eyewear, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

It is never too late to start a sun protection regimen! For every day use, a quality moisturiser with a 30+ broad spectrum sunscreen is perfect.

    Good LuckBlackheads!!??
    1. use facial scrub daily, buy it or or you can mix rice powder with curd or rose water and use as a facial scrub. Apply on the face and rub gently on the skin using small circular movements. Concentrate on the blackhead prone areas. Leave on for five minutes and then wash off with water

2.Once daily, mix honey and lemon juice in equal quantities with egg white and apply on the face, washing it off after 20 minutes.

    3.2 Tbs oatmeal

    1tbs honey

Mix the oatmeal and honey together until mixed well. Warm the texture in a microwave. Apply the mask to the face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Remove the mixture and rinse well with lukewarm water. Do the mask on a regular basis to help eliminate pores from getting plugged with debris

4- Grated raw potatoes can be used to treat all kinds of skin problems including pimples, wrinkles, whiteheads and blackheads. Pack potatoes directly on problem areas to extract blackheads

5- Combine 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water. Rub this solution on your skin for a few minutes, and rinse with warm water for effective blackhead extraction.
uhh...hmm u could try a facial or a hot washcloth on you nose and then those blackhead strips. that works for my friend
    pro activ
first steam your face. popping or digging them out puts you at risk for scars. they say you should use 2 q-tips, press firmly on either side to push them out. but you will still need products to kill the bacteria and prevent future breakouts. proactive works
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. • Blackheads?

i've recently been getting black heads/big pores all over my nose and particuarly my chest

how do i get rid of it and also prevent it from happening in the future

    thanks xBlackheads?
blackheads on your nose can be easily removed by nose stripsBlackheads?
try with clearsil ultra..use the one with the scrubbing things...when you wash ur face wash with warm water to open your pores and to cleanse them, then when you're dont use real cold water to close em up..also wash ur face more often, cos black heads n stuff its just the crap in the air getting in ur face.
To get rid of them buy a blackhead scrub.

Neutrogena do a great one and at an affordable price.

In future to prevent them, exfoliate at least twice a week and maybe try out something like evening primrose oil. That helps control your skin.
wash wash wash. and biore strips before bed. they really work. i promise. = )
My days at the hospital in bayrute taught me many lesson on skin care. First and formost Windex is a fix all product. Also use clean and clear for the future.
    Soap n Water everyday
    1) Get a cleanser with Salicylic acid (Biore makes a pretty affordable one) and use it on your face and neck.

    2) Use those Biore pads on your nose; they are fantastic!

    3) Use a scrub. Epsom Salt is inexpensive and a wonderful alternative to all those scrubs out there. You can use it on your chest as well.

    4) I would also use some Benzoyl Peroxide to dry up your pores.

You can also get and get a good facial with a steam treatment and an extraction. Doing that will really clean out those pores. I also get glycolic peels once a month, but that might be too much for some people.

    Blackheads!?

Does anyone know the best way to get rid of blackheads, i have tried all the scrubs and cleansing washes that are advertised but none of them help!Blackheads!?
Use the neutrogena oil free stress relief acne wash. It's really good at drying up my face (only use it on the parts of your face with the blackheads). Or you could try the clinique 3-step system (the acne solutions one). I use both of them and I'm all cleared up. Be sure to exfoliate twice a week as well, to get rid of all your dead skin cells.Blackheads!?
I disagree with the dude that sed about not eating big macs, junk food dont affect it,

and yes i also recommend getting a bowl of boiling water, and a towel, and let the steam open up your pores, then it is much easier and less painful to squeeze the little buggers out!

i have them too and they are a pain in the ***!

i hope you get rid of them ,(good luck)
I have the same problem!!! its awful i hate them i have them all over my forhead and they wont go away
I have blackheads aswell and so far and don't think is any affordable cure..celebrities pay alot of money to get rid of them

try using tea tree face wash, its foamy and soft and great for sensitive skin.
Boil water then put your head under a towel and let the steam cleanse and pull the out of your pores.
Boil some water and hover your face above it with a towel on top of your head so the steam does not escape. Then try squeezing them out, very gently. You may have to do this a couple of times.Blackheads are difficult to get rid of
Exfoliation helps get rid of blackheads. I exfoliate my skin 1-2 times a week as recommended by my dermatologist. No more than 3 times a week or the essential oils from your skin will be striped.

Dermalogica.. You can get it from reputable beauty salons (just go on their website and find your nearest dermatologist, who will give you a skin consultation, they will also have the products if they are on Dermalogica's site - link below).

I however got my consultation done at a beauty salon and then bought the products online from JerseyBeautyCompany - link below
Steam your face over a bowl of boiling water then gently squeeze the blackheads out.
Sauna's are great for popping blackheads. keep it really steamy, add some menthol crystals and do your sinuses at the same time. Out the sauna and straight into the plunge pool. Cured in a couple of weeks.
A lot of people have a good idea on what to do, except for one thing: DO NOT SQUEEZE YOUR BLACKHEADS USING FINGERS.

That will just get the blackhead infected and you'll end up back where you started from. Many are unaware of this and often wonder why it keeps coming back worse.

Use a professional blackhead remover/extractor. You can get one online, or just go to http://blackheadproducts.com for one..

There's a ton of good resources and guides there.
i just use the apricot scrup it works for me but since u have sensitive skin you may want to try phislex is really good it may be hard to find but walmart usually has it dont over wash your face or it may flake and dri you skin out. be patient it takes time for them to go away hope you clear up soon :o)
bathe with a hot wet face cloth then sqeeze (gently)

    %26amp;stop eating big macs
Ok.. you can get black head strips from boots, superdrug etc.

They are sticky patches that you put on the part of your face with black heads.. and then leave for 10 mins and take it off and then some of the looser black heads will come out.

Do this each week after holding your head over a bowl of hot water or something to open your pores!

Secondly... its called St ives... blemish fighting.(Its a face scrub to be used every day.)

I uses it all the time and is fab!

I would reccomend using it in the hols that are coming up.. because the first few times of using it, it does bring out spots that have been under your skin. So this will last for about a week.. but its well worth it.. and after that you will have such smooth spotless and black headless skin! (Thats not a word.. but hey!)

I would reccomend it to everyone!! Its great!

And if you can out up with the spots for a couple of days.. its well worth it!

    Good look!

For any other tips.. email me and make me a fan!

The only thing I've found that gets rid of blackheads is using toner after cleasing and before moisturising. When you cleanse with a face wash or scrub you are opening the pores on your face and cleaning the dirt and oil out of them, then you tone to close those pores that you have just opened and then you moisturise to put the moisture back into your skin. If you don't use toner and all you do is cleanse and moisturise, all you're doing is blocking the newly opened pores with moisturiser. Which can cause blackheads. There are a lot of toners on the market so I'm sure they'll do one for sensitive skin. The best toner I've found is the Witch hazel toner with tea tree, since I've started using that I've had zero blackheads and no blocked pores. Sorry if I rambled hope some of that helps.
    Try painting them white.

    Blackheads?

Is it safe to go to a salon and get them ';extracted';?

What does that mean, does it hurt, how long does it last?

Could you please give me all the details please and thankyou?!Blackheads?
Unless they are super super bad, I would use: Biore warming anti-blackhead cream cleanser %26amp; Biore deep cleansing pore strips. The strips work really well--they literally extract dirt from your blackheads. You leave it on for 10-15 minutes and when you take it off, you can see the stuff that was extracted. Definitely cheaper than getting it done professionally!Blackheads?
If you really want your blackheads extracted, it's much safer to go to a salon than to do them yourself. If you pick at them or try to get them out yourself, you could end up with infected cysts on your face (which are much ickier than a few blackheads).

However, if they're done incorrectly at a salon, you can still get infections.

If you only have a few, it's not worth it. A lot...talk to a dermatologist.

And here's something to discourage you from picking at them: (I hope you're not planning on eating anything soon)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WHIaf-x0鈥?/a>
my cousin got her blackheads extracted professionally and she told me it was painful and her nose was alllll red when she got home
i think they put on this facemask type thing that takes away the black heads but i dont know how much it costs i never had it done

    Blackheads?

i have small blackheads on my nose and forehead no one notices but me and the only time you can see them is if you have one of those magnified mirrors

but i still dont want them there

so do you have any advice???Blackheads?
I myself have problems with annoying blackheads. Try experimenting with different scrubs, and every morning or evening put your head over a big bowl of boiled water, with a towel over your head and the bowl. The steam somtimes helps; othertimes some people have found a technique for squeezing out their blackheads (Yuck!). But the best preventative you can take is to keep any areas on your face that have large pores clean. It might also help to use a toner (Somtimes found at mass stores and cosmetics sections at dept. stores) to constrict those larger pores- just make sure you're pores are clean, or it will only add to the problem!Blackheads?
    Um you can try:

    Store Products:

    Biore

    Aveeno

    St. Ives (apricot scrub)

    Clearsil

ANy FaceScrubs with those beedy things in them

    Homemade:

wash ur face with a handful of cornmeal and water

    it works really good
you really cant do anything about them... you could try St Ives Apricot Scrub for blackheads. Use coverup in the meanwhile thats about all you can do . You just have to be patient.
i have them on my nose to and to be honest...thye have been there a long time. Just make sure you washing your face or using your acne cream everyday to prevent further blackheads.
OK first get steam hot water let the steam soften Ur blackheads and poke with a tooth pic then put cream on it it works....
try applying carrot juice on your face daily.

    Blackheads.?

i have millions of blackheads on my nose and under my lip...on my chin and they never get big to pop anything i can use to get rid of them? creams? scrubs? cleansers? nothing expensize or over $30 something you can find at a drugstoreBlackheads.?
Yes there is something you can do. Try mixing 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 cup of water and wash your face with it. I gave this remedy to a friend and she said it worked great for her problems.Blackheads.?
You could probably find an inexpensive mask or deep pore cleanser at a drugstore or someplace like Target. Something you could try at home would be to steam your face over a pan of boiling water every night for a while. It'll open up your pores and draw the blackheads out.
I have a ton too! Any product should do the trick.
    BIORE nose strips rock!!!!!!!!

    xx
I use Loreal exfoliating scrub but you can always use sea salt or raw sugar for your black heads. It works for me... My mum told me to use it when i ran out of scrub.
Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque works pretty well on blackheads. It's a clay mask that you can get at pretty much any drugstore. I got it at Rite Aid for about $4. Worked better for me than any strips or peels ever did.

To losen up the blackheads, use a warm, wet cloth and place over face for 15 min, or use a face scrub of salt, lemon, and honey for the same time. All of this stuff could be done with no cost and it could be sitting right in your pantry

  • Blackheads!?

i have blackheads on my nose, and i cant get rid of them. i scrub away at them every day and squeeze my nose but it doesnt work. i have all sorts of products but nothing seems to shift them. ive tried pore strips and they dont work. im desperate because they make me so self consious! please help!Blackheads!?
Keep sticking with the biore nosestrips WEEKLY and it will pull them right off. wash your face, stick one on for about 10-15 mins and they will pull them up. Then use sea breeze astringent daily and wash your face at least 2xs a day. I have the same problem and it really helps me!Blackheads!?
First off, you need a good facial. Yes, guys can get facials too. A good esthetician will use steam to open up the pores and extract the blackheads. Many spas have facials designed specifically for men

Long term, you should probably be using products on your face with glycolic acid. I like glytone, but whoever you find to help you with your skin can recommend specific products.

Stop squeezing your face!! You're certainly not making it better, and probably making it worse.
wash your face at least 5 times per day , only with waterr
well try to scrub them away but not to harsh because you dont wanna brake the skin on your nose....that would make you more self concicious. but dont squeeze your nose .......that wont help your situation(im not even sure wat it does). try a green fase mask called ';Mint Julep Masque'; by Queen Helene. It works for mee

    good luck!

Well when ever i have black heads i go to a spa and have a facial treatment and tell them about my black heads. They always clear it away, so u should try.

BIG TIP: GO to a spa thats really good and has reasonable price like $46-100.
stop messing with them, wash your face with a very mild soap once a day. Also watch what you eat and drink, if you drink a lot of alcohol it will make it worse.
I have the same problem. The pore strips didn't work for me either. Squeezing will lead to scars which will probably make you more self consious. Try using something that contains this stuff called 'salicylic acid'. If that doesn't work either, maybe you should go see a dermotoligists. Good luck!

Try Serious Skin Care you can find it on the web. Your face is worth looking after. You take care of your skin it will take care of you later in life.
    St. Ives scrub.
A better skin routine. An astringent sounds like what you need. Doesn't have to be expensive, you can use witch hazel, which is cheap, or go to the dollar store and get one there.

If you need a routine, try Acne Free. It's like Proactive but cheaper. It's great. It works wonders. You can get it cheap at Wal-Mart, but it's at CVS, Walgreens, Kmart.

    Blackheads?

I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and tzone area and i don't know how to get rid of them. my skin is slightly oily. also how do you get rid of those acne scars?Blackheads?
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.Blackheads?
Most likely when the oil of your skin rises to the surface it appears black. You will not get rid of this because it will most likely come back. I recommend

    1. A facial cleanser, firstly wet your face with a warm face washer. This will open up your pores so you can clean thoroughly. Apply the cleanser and rub it onto the skin in a circular motion. Then clean off with a face washer. Make sure you get it all off other wise it will irritate the skin. While your face is warm and pores are open try LIGHTLY squeezing some of it out of your skin. Don't go too hard because you dont want a red face for days.

2.An exfoliant (apply the same as you would in step 1), Apply after the initial cleanser, use this every 2-3 days depending on how bad your skin is. The areas around your nose and chin will be the worst so concentrate on them more.

3.Toner, this will help clear any oil and also get rid of any leftover cleanser on your face. Pat on your face and then wipe off lightly.

4.Use a light moisturiser. A thick one will clog your pores up.

Do these steps every morning and night and you will notice the difference. You have to take good care of your skin.

If this doesn't work you could go to a beauty therapist and get a deep cleansing facial done. Around $60-$70 but they will usually only do the same thing as listed above.

For your scaring there are lots of different things out now it depends on the individual and how much money you want to spend.
Use Clean and clear PERSA-GEL 10... it is a benzoyl peroxide treatment. Mix it in with a moisturizer all over your face morning and night, and the blackheads should leave in a couple days.

Or you can try an ASPIRIN MASK!!! Take about 4 GENERIC ASPIRIN and a drop of water, until it forms a paste... put it on your face for about 10-15 minutes, then moisturize!!!

Acne Scars: PURE VITAMIN E OIL!!! You can mix a small amount in with a moisturizer, or use it as a spot treatment. You can get it next to the vitamins at just about any store.
Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser.

Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.

Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Effective Tips to get rid of blackheads

鈥xfoliate the blackhead prone area 3-4 times a week using facial exfoliators and scrubs.

鈥se creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.

鈥void washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.

鈥ften use a mask with a clay base.

If blackheads look ready to pop out, you could try removing them gently by using a blackhead extractor. Also, Pore cleanser strips (blackhead extractor) for removal of blackheads are highly recommended for the treatment/removal of blackheads. Using them once per week will leave your pores cleaner and smaller.

Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.

Why are women obsessed with picking blackheads and acne?

I have to have clear skin and if my husband gets a blackhead I have to get rid of it or it drives me crazy! Does anyone else do this? Please respond. Why are women obsessed with picking blackheads and acne?
It must be a pet-peeve of yours then. Women seem to have the obsession for beauty, especially beautiful women. Your desire for perfection causes your mind to interact by having the urge to remove any necessities that blocks that perfection. And considering that your husband is your love, you obviously have the authority to peck at his blackheads and such. While with other people, you just look in disgust. How disgusting of them! By golly, such nastiness!

Anyways, I've noticed that ';St. Ive's'; products (especially the masking ones seem to tighten up your pores so that blackheads don't even have the chance to form.) It really does miracles to your skin to rid you of them nasty blackheads!

Yeah, I know it's a female product. But hey, we're all human! Hahaha! Why are women obsessed with picking blackheads and acne?
I can tell you that i am a woman %26amp; I do NOT do that, I don't even pick one on myself.... very rarely get them anyway. That is gross.
Yeah. I know what you mean. I do the same thing and I can't explain it. You know they can see them so why don't they take care of them. They look gross so you have to get rid of them.

I had this problem before. I just started using a 3 step skin care routine (cleanse, tone, moisturise), and exfoliated about once every week. I had blackhead free nose and cheeks in about a week. :-)

Hi, yes, I use the Clinique range. It's pretty expensive but it's really good stuff. If you're on a budget, there are other cheaper, alternatives out there, which will work fine.

I saw a consultant at a drug store and she recommended one exactly for my skin type. Perhaps you should try doing that too? I swear, it works :-) Good luck!
Take a hot compress to your face - repeat. Gently push your nose upwards - it should release the black heads.

Try washing with an acne wash - use a toner and spot treat blemishes with an acne cream -

Always use a three step system (AM/PM) I like the toner from ALBA - put it in a clean spritz bottle if you can find a new one at the drug store - spray on a washed face (pat dry) then apply the toner.

It helps balance your pores -

Booths makes great exfoliants to use twice. a week on a clean face -
This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

My dermatologist recommended Cetaphil for me about a year and a half ago, and I've been using it ever since. You can get it at CVS or any local pharmacy. It's non-comedogenic and fragrance free. It says it really helps restore skin's natural protective barrier and keeps the skin mousturized and hydrated. It's also non-greasy and feels soft and smooth. I've really liked it, and it doesn't affect my acne or anything. Just gently put on as much as needed, and it feels so nice! blackheads are a pain because they are hard to get rid of and ,unlike the myth that its really dirt in there and thats why they look black, you can be super clean and still get them. one cream that i use and have seen great results is the clean and clear blackhead scrub. i use it in the morning and at night and when i take a showere because the steam from the shower opens up you pores and makes it easier to clean those blackheads out. also exfoliating every now and then say somewere between 3-4 times a week will help 2. i use the in the shower clean and clear steam facial. of course we are all different but these products work for me and maybe they will work for you 2.

How to get rid of blackheads?

Hi, how do I get rid of blackheads without doing facial spa and squeezing it. I have loads and if I squeeze them they will turn into a big pore and dirty bacteria will get into it and make it into a spot. how can i stop that?.How to get rid of blackheads?
Wash your face, with hot water, (to open pores) then using a medicated cleanser, on cotton wool, clean thoroughly, moisturise, then leave your skin alone, preferably overnight, so that your pores can close naturally, (do this on a regular basis)

If you are going out, rinse your face in cold water to quickly close the pores preventing 'dirt' from getting into the pores.

Avoid heavy make up (foundation) as this only 'masks' the problem..and 'clogs up the pores' and only use sparingly once the problem has cleared up.

Scented soap/shower gel, is also not good for the skin, always try to use any products that can be used for babies, as these are mild and gentle, and this includes moisturisers.

If all this fails, see your G.P as they will have specially prepared medication that will combat/control your problem.

Caramac xHow to get rid of blackheads?
The greatest thing I have found is sugar scrub. I use a lemon one. But they clean and moisturize and it is wonderful. I can do it while I am in the shower. or I can do it when I brush my teeth . It is so easy. Plus it feels so good and it smells good.

So you should try it for a week see if it does not help you.

Plus you can look on line and find a recipe to make your own. It is great for men and women. That is what is so great about it. So clean up those pores and start noticing a difference.

    Enjoy a wonderful bright face.
    dunno.
Don't squeeze or pop blackheads. That can cause serious holes in your face and scarring. Exfoliating is really the way to stop blackheads. I would suggest exfoliating your face every other day or every two days until you see many of them gone. After that, you should exfoliate once or twice a week for maintenance. St. Ives apricot scrub is a great way to exfoliate. There are also creams to use that prevent black heads such as clean and clear persa gel. You should use something like that every night. Good luck!

Actually they do it pretty well. You just have to remember not to move your face in any way once the strip is on. Try using Medicated Apricot Scrub by St. Ives. That worked well for me. Also, I now use the bar soap by Clinique. That has worked the best of everything I have tried. And if you wear makeup, try bare minerals...
I had a lot of trouble with proactive drying my face out too much. Before spending all of the money for proactive I have a solution I have found to work very well with my difficult skin. Wash your face with PHysoderm twice a day (or less depending on how sensitive you skin is) and follow with a light application of an astringent (used for cleaning and closing pores) by Olay. Everyones skin is different and this may not work for your skin but it is an fairly enexpensive treatment that I have found to work very well.

If you want something VERY inexpensive and very effective try one of the following...though you might want to do this before bed as they tend to have a foul smell

#1 (rubbing) Alcohol-very acidic and very effective..my ex-husband had a horrible problem with acne (yes...even at age 40) and did this all the time.

#2 Vinegar...just as acidic and therefore just as effective..slight smell, however it is antibacterial and is very cleansing. I put some of it in a bath (with sea salt) for getting very very soft skin.

Try it, it might just do the job without all the cost...and its natural as well.

How do you get rid of blackheads that's been there for while?

like it's really turning black really stuck.

I don't really want to squeeze and I'm looking for gentle treatments

Sorry to post this again thought I'd get a better answer in this categorieHow do you get rid of blackheads that's been there for while?
well u don't want to squeeze the hell out of them but u can get a peel ....the one u let dry and after a few it peels off like a sunburn. it surrounds the pore and once its ready to peel well u peel it. if it tickles it OK that means ifs pulling the bacteria away from the pore. to prevent ones from developing u can LIGHTLY squeeze around the nose, chin, forehead or any other area u get blackhead. there should be white residue coming out if u have a DEVELOPING black\white head. other then that don't squeeze them hard or it could cause scarring. hope this worksHow do you get rid of blackheads that's been there for while?
put one of those pore strips on it. Just because the box says they're supposed to be for your nose doesn't mean that's the only place they will work!
