Blackheads.?

I have a lot of blackheads.

I already tried using Biore Nose strips, and it doesn't work that well for me. I also tried the St.Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish %26amp; Blackhead Control, but that doesn't work, and it dries up my skin.

I don't know what to do, I really don't want to pop them.

I also tried Honey + Lemon, cause someone told me to, but it doesn't really work.

Is there anything that will work? ( Something cheap )

Any / good / home remedies?Blackheads.?
I saw on TV where they said one of the best/cheapest cures for black heads is to use regular Elmer's Glue or the equivalent.

Spread it over the area and let it dry completely. Peel it off. I haven't tried it, but celebrities were swearing by it.

Best thing, if it doesn't work, you probably aren't out any money. If it works like they say...what a huge, HUGE savings over Biore.Blackheads.?
why dont you want to pop them???

anyway, i too use biore strips, but you can also try a face cleanser called, cetaphil. it works really well.

use it every morining and every night.
Cucumber is good for treating skin eruptions and bulges and for whitening skin. It can also prevent pimples, wrinkles, blackheads and dryness of the face.

Roasted and powdered pomegranate skin is good in treating boils, pimples, blackheads and whiteheads.
Blackheads are pores clogged with oil and dirt. You need to wash tone and moisturize your face 2x a day with the correct skincare for your skin. You should also get a facial if at all possible. You should not try to squeeze them yourself you could only end up making a scar or worse and get an infection. If you cannot afford a facial try boiling some water at home and draping a towel over your head to steam your face almost like a pro. Just dint stay under too long because that is not good either, try 10 min. 1x week.
This is what I do...

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.

Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.

Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.

An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.

Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.

Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.

If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples.
heres wat my celebrity makeup artist stepmom does:

soak a soft washcloth in hot water. squeeze out %26amp; put in microwave 4 about 30 seconds, or until it gets warm enough. (make sure u dont burn urself!) lay the towel on ur face, pressing down on the areas w/ blackheads. this will pull all the dirt out of ur face, %26amp; it will open up ur pores. after that, splash ur face w/ cold water 2 close up ur now-clean pores! voila! gorgeous skin! do this as often as needed.

hope i helped! good luck! ;-D
From experience, Biore sucks, they do absolutely nothing but irritate skin (for me). St. Ives makes great lotion, but their scrubs tend to be too stong.

My mum recommended me this brand, Paula's Choice. It's wonderful! My blackheads mostly cleared up in a month or so. Look around the site, and find something that you think would work best for you. The product I used is linked below. Good luck!

Oh, and greasy foods and not drinking enough water will clog pores, leading to blackheads.
I sure just steam ur face.it reallyyyyyyy works.

Put some water in a bowl and boil it.After boiling the water covr up ur head with a towel so dat the steam wud not go away and after steaming pop up the blackheads lightlyand the black head will come out.Just try it out.Steam for 5-10 min.
omg!!!!i teird all those too!!!yah i still use them though it gets rid of them evebntuelly u haver ot be patient though
Blackheads are caused by excess oil production in the skin, and often disappear after puberty.

Nearly all skin problems can be helped by drinking plenty of water - at least 2 litres per day. Also, cutting down on sugary fatty foods helps. Many people also cut out citrus fruits, (except lemons ), tomatoes, strawberries and fizzy drinks. Include plenty of fresh veg. in your diet, especially raw green veg. Oily fish is also beneficial for the skin.

The main line of attack on blackheads is to keep them clean, so that they don't develop into spots. The following works for me:

1. Cleanse, tone and moisturise at least twice every day. I make my own products especially for the purpose:

Cleanser:

Mix 3 tablespoons of aqueous cream with 3 drops of Tree oil, 3 drops lavender and 3 tablespoons warm sterile water ( from a cooled kettle ) - you can do this in a food processor or whisk it with a balloon whisk.

Toner:

500mls sterile water mixed with 3 drops T Tree oil.

Moisturiser

Add 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil to the same recipe as the cleanser.

Make sure jars for holding the creams are clean and sterile.

Occasionally - no more than once per week, you could ';steam'; the blackheads; get a bowl of boiling water with a few drops of t tree oil, place your face near the bowl, taking great care not to scald yourself, and place a towel over your head to encase your head in the steam. Leave for a few minutes to loosen the blackheads, before very gently squeezing them with clean hands and tissue. Follow with a thorough cleanse, and most importantly, close the pores with chilled sterile water and a few more drops t tree oil dissolved in it; never use neat t tree oil on the skin - it is much too harsh.

Hope this works for you.
Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes before washing off with cold water. Beat white part of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it around half an hour and then rinse with warm water. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.
