I got a lot of blackheads at my nose for some years, and up to now i don't know how to get rid of them without using any strips. I'm only 14. what's the best way to get rid of them? How to get rid of blackheads at the nose area?
Do this twice a week and you will notice the results.
Step I
Firstly, wash your face with a mild exfoliating agent. Use the one that is gentle to your skin. You can use a low potency benzoyl peroxide as an exfoliater. A low potency benzoyl peroxide is a recommended option to alleviate the appearance of blackheads on nose. It will wash away the dead skin cells and expose the blackhead. The benzoyl peroxide content works towards breaking up the blackheads rooted in the skin.
Do not use much of benzoyl peroxide as it is too strong for your skin. Next caution should be not to over scrub while exfoliating.
After exfoliating, pat the skin dry and get ready for steam. Use your wash basin or a bowl to get steam. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil to it. It is a natural antibacterial agent which will help to gently wash away the dead skin cells and remove the blackheads, excess oils and embedded impurities from the nose area.
Within 5 minutes of steaming, the pores of your skin will open up and you will softer skin.
Step II
After this you can use any of the following blackhead remover techniques to clear your nose of the black pores:
1) Apply an effective blackhead remover, scrub or mask. This will absorb the oil in the blocked pore and after 10 minutes wash it off with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.
2) Or, use a blackhead extractor. Always sterilize it before and after the use. Press its hole over the blackhead and press it gently. Be careful to get the plug out without damaging the skin around. The sides could be used for removing debris from the sides of the nostrils, chin, and ears. Apply an antiseptic soothing cream afterwards.
3) Using pore strips is very popular to remove nose blackheads. Just paste it over the skin and pull away to expel the blackheads. Also keep this in mind that over use of pore strips can aggravate your skin condition.
Step III
Pat the skin Dry and do it regularly, twice a week. Adopt a skin care routine and keep hygienic. For this you can use a number of home remedies which help to cure blackhead. This will definitely reduce your blackheads. How to get rid of blackheads at the nose area?
I buy alcohol, just plain pure alcohol, dip cotton balls in it and squeeze out excess alcohol (you don't want your face drenched, hehe) and then use it all over your nose, and I tend to use it on my entire face. I see results in a day! Make sure to have a moisturizer (even just hand/body creams are fine) because your face will dry out from the alcohol if you don't.
Also, if you feel like after only a couple days of doing this your nose still has blackheads, take a closer look because a lot of times people mistake large pores to be blackheads. :)
I tell people this all the time.
Elmers glue. Apply to nose. Let dry for a few minutes. When dry, peel off. They should be gone.
Sounds crazy, I know, but why not give it a try?
:-) Good luck.
I think maybe salt water opens the pores. My boyfriend and I went to the beach and when we get out of the water.. they were huge all over his nose. I pulled each out with a tweezer.. so gross.
Push your nostrils upward and it will squeeze the black heads out. I do this to my boyfriend every week...fast results trust me.
my way is to use a clean electric toothbrush and move it in circular motions on your nose. hope this has helped you :D
