i get alot of blackheads,
although i use a blackhead scrub everyday recommended by my dermatologist.
is there anything else i can do ?
and should i squeeze them out ?Blackheads;?
my son has been using pine tar soap for a over two months now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks. His skin is 100 percent clearer nowBlackheads;?
I am an esthetician, and blackheads can be tricky to resolve. If you smoke, you'll have to give up the ciggys if you want your skin to clear. Even then they can be tough to get rid of. Try to visit a local esthetician and have a complimentary skin analysis. Your esthetician should be able to figure out why they are occurring with an in-depth intake interview. They can be related to hormone conditions, using the wrong products, stress, hereditary conditions.
Most people have at least a few in the T-zone. If you want to remove them, it's best to have it done professionally. I have found that products that contain at least 10% Mandelic Acid are very helpful for blackheads. You can find these products on the web. Also Salycylic Acid products can help too. Try googling those ingredients + the words ';skin care products'; and you should be able to find something to help. Best of luck :)
You can do a steam facial by boiling some hot water on the stove and pouring into a large pyrex bowl. Sit at a table with a towel over your head and over the bowl, allowing the steam to really open up your pores. Be careful not to scald yourself with the hot water. I used to do this and it helped a lot. They say not to squeeze blackheads but I always would gently squeeze them out after the steam treatment and they would come out really easily without much problem.
never squeeze them out , thats how people get ';potholes'; it will scar your skin
i use Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub
it can be found at any walmart
